Voices of Spoon River

Thanks to Brett Shelton, Marie Duncan, and Jon Scoresby from the Instructional Technology Department at Utah State University for introducing us to the Interactive Fiction Game Voices of Spoon River. Sadly, we don't have enough time to continue the game on school time because we have too many other things to accomplish before the end of the year, but don't despair! Because you have been such good sports in helping us collect some data about this game, you can download it for your own use from this web site. It will work on Windows or Mac, but make sure you read and follow all the instructions. (It's free!) If you're interested in extra credit, finish solving all the issues and find the "Easter eggs" hidden in the game. I've been told that some of the stuff you picked up and didn't use will come in handy, but I've never actually found the "hidden" stuff. I'll give extra credit to the first few folks who can tell me how.

If you want to try to find some more of the "connections" and "issues" in the Spoon River story, check out some of these links:

Did you read Eragon? Here's an interactive fiction game based on that book.
