Short Fiction Final Assignment
Write a story of no more than 1500 words.
Your short story should include the following:
- A well-structured plot that includes exposition, at least three complications,
and a climax (resolution optional)
- At least one believable, well-developed character (Remember the four methods
of characterization and that characters must have realistic motivation.)
- Some form of irony (verbal, situational, or dramatic)
- Powerful sensory descriptions of meaningful elements in the story
- An allusion
- Some symbolism
- A clearly developed theme
